VIM Commands - Survival Kit

VIM is a great text/code editor but not so user-friendly. Take some time to learn how to use it and it will seem much more friendlier then. On VIM you need to enter the ---INSERT-- mode to be able to edit your file like a regular text editor. To do this press the "i" key and you will see the 'insert' message at the bottom. Press Escape to exit the insert mode. Keep in mind that the commands below will not work if you are in the insert mode so you have to keep pressing "i" and "Esc" to get in and out of the insert mode. This awful episode in password management made me realize that I had to take the matter seriously and couldn't count only on my memory to remember the dozens of passwords I need to type everyday.
